my future job

Hello everyone, today we will talk about my future job, well I study biochemistry, and I would love to have a job where it allows me to do what I want like, investigate, I imagine it being in a relaxed environment, with music. The truth is that I have always dreamed of leaving Latin America, for me it is not a future if I do not go far from this country. Within the whole world in which the role as a biochemist can be developed, microbiology has always caught my attention, but viruses even more, I like the idea that a complex of proteins and nucleic acids can have so much power, for me it is incredible. I have also been in a laboratory where they investigate HIV and I liked it a lot so I definitely find that it is my thing. The work of a scientist is difficult, he has to investigate, he has to compete with his peers, he has to apply for projects, and the salary is not something that stands out, so I have never expected large sums of money , but they don't matter to me either, that I...

my quarantine project

Hello everyone, I decided to talk about my quarantine project , my own microscope. Well it all started when my friend Luis had built one in my first year of university, he showed me the wonderful things he found in the microscopic world and it ended up being my biggest motivation. I have always liked the subject of electronics, playing with electrical circuits, and those things, so why not make a microscope where the sample can be moved with motors and everything controlled, at first it sounded like a great idea, disassemble An old printer that I had only to get some motors, gears, cables, and use part of the structure, but I realized that it was all very rough, with the help of a friend who knows electronics he began to recommend components and so buy some things. He bought me the lenses that would give him the necessary zoom to see the sample, motors called step motors, which would allow me to better control the movement and an Arduino board that is a microcontroller that would allow...

Biochemistry.-

Hello everyone, today I come to talk about what I study, Biochemistry and I will tell you about why I chose it, the positive aspects and benefits in case someone reading this gets excited. Since I was a child, I wondered how things worked, and I was impressed with how they did it and it was science that answered my questions and the career of biochemistry was the career that allowed me to have the professional training to continue wondering and researching. And of course, it has positive aspects, a personal scope, it satisfies the constant curiosity in me, it gives me the tools to answer them and on the other hand it is a benefit in society, because all research contributes to knowledge and that is what leads us to generate new things for the benefit of life. As benefits, I would not say that it is something very satisfactory, it is a long way, there is no money or fame or anything else than doing what you like and thus help the entire community by contributing a grain of sand to knowl...
